    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born December 7, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

    AAU also conferred the honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

    Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

    YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.     The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was started in 2005 in order to assist vulnerable, low-income orphaned kids around the world.

    The foundation helps these destitute children and their communities by implementing sustainable and participatory interventions which include child development programmes and childcare programs and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more.

    Trauma Care International Foundation

    The TraumaCare International foundation was established to increase the life expectancy and health of local communities. This foundation will help support national policies on trauma treatment by providing the advocacy process as well as health education and community-based initiatives.

    The foundation has run more than 1000 first aid and safety training. The foundation has also trained more than a thousand instructors, law enforcement officers as well as caregivers and road transportation workers.
